Daher Aircraft is set to present its latest flagship turboprop, the TBM 980, at AERO Friedrichshafen, marking the aircraft’s first appearance at a European air show. The aircraft will be displayed at the company’s exhibit stand, offering attendees an up-close look at the newest evolution of the TBM series.

Since its official unveiling in January, the TBM 980 has already seen strong market traction, with more than 10 aircraft delivered to customers. The model lives up to its tagline, “Fly Differently,” by combining cutting-edge technology with enhanced passenger experience.

A key highlight of the TBM 980 is the integration of the third-generation Garmin G3000 PRIME avionics suite. This advanced flight deck brings improved performance, intuitive operation, and enhanced situational awareness, reinforcing Daher’s commitment to innovation and pilot-centric design.

In addition to avionics upgrades, the TBM 980 introduces significant improvements in comfort and connectivity. Among these is factory-installed compatibility with the Starlink Mini satellite terminal, enabling high-speed in-flight internet access—an increasingly important feature for both business and private aviation users.

During the AERO Friedrichshafen press conference, Daher Aircraft will provide an update on the TBM 980 program’s progress and share insights into the broader outlook for the general aviation and business aviation markets. The company is expected to highlight how the TBM 980 aligns with evolving customer expectations, particularly in terms of performance, digital integration, and onboard experience.

With its strong early deliveries and advanced features, the TBM 980 is positioning itself as a leading option in the high-performance turboprop segment, reinforcing Daher’s role as a key innovator in the aviation industry.
